Dana and Eric met later in life, on Bumble. Eric is from North Carolina and Dana's dad was in the military so I moved around a lot until I went to college in North Carolina. They have been together for 3.5 years and got engaged after 2 years of dating. Dana is a school counselor - just like Eric's mom was. Eric is an Engineer. Together, they make the perfect team. Dana loves that Eric is very patient with her, and so understanding of her quirks. She admires how Eric holds his friends and family close. Dana explained that Eric not only checked all her boxes, but he has taught her so much about new things in life, and also about herself. On their first date, they shared fried green tomatoes and a beer on a cold rainy December night. It just seemed to take off from there, they were always themselves around each other and became comfortable and familiar early on. Dana loves to travel so when they got engaged, a destination wedding was a must. They chose The Fives Beach Hotel for their dream wedding, and it was nothing short of perfect. They were married at the beachfront gazebo, with a beautiful cocktail hour in the garden close by. Their destination wedding photographers were delighted because they wanted to tour the venue to take beautiful couple photos together before they headed to the beach for their reception. After a fine meal, loving and comical speeches from their family and friends, they cut their cake, and then partied like it was 1999. It was a magical night, and we are grateful to have had a chance to meet them and their supportive family and friends. HMU: Spa at the Fives
