At Quetzal Wedding Photo, I believe that photography isn’t actually about the camera at all—it’s about being fully present enough to notice the raw, honest moments that usually disappear.

Whether you are planning a luxurious destination wedding in the Mexican Caribbean or a quiet, barefoot elopement hidden in the jungle, my goal is to create a visual legacy that feels entirely true to who you are. No scripts. No fabrications. Just your story, honestly told.

My story with the camera started when I was ten years old. Back then, I didn't realize I was building a lifelong career; I just knew that when I looked through the viewfinder, the world made more sense. I didn't just see images—I felt stories.

In 2012, I founded Quetzal in the heart of the Riviera Maya, a landscape that has shaped my artistic vision as much as I’ve documented its beauty. After capturing over 500 destination weddings for couples traveling from all over the globe, I’ve realized that my best work happens when I lean into my life outside of photography.

I’m a mother, an artist, and a maker. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me with clay on my hands or paint on my apron. Working with my hands—feeling the raw texture of the earth and the flow of color—is exactly what teaches me how to interpret light, shadow, and composition within a wedding gallery. To me, creativity isn’t a profession; it’s a way of moving through the world.

Today, I lead a small, hand-picked team that shares this exact philosophy. We don't believe in manufacturing moments or forcing rigid poses. Instead, we bring a calm energy, intentional movement, and a deep, quiet respect for the day you’ve spent so long dreaming up. Because decades from now, these photographs shouldn't just show you what you wore—they should bring you right back to exactly how it felt to be there.
