This Viceroy Riviera Maya wedding was, quite literally, a dream come true. Our journey with Julia and Liam began a year prior during their engagement session. Back then, they were a bit camera-shy, but by the time their wedding day arrived in April, they had completely transformed. They were the laidback, hilarious, and radiant couple we always knew they were!

Julia’s vision was clear from the start: an experience focused on connection rather than tradition. "We want our guests to remember the experience," she told us. Her goal was a wedding with no strangers, where everyone dined at one long table in solidarity.

Ditching the traditional "check-boxes"—no cake cutting, no bouquet toss, and no formal dances—allowed the day to flow with a natural, earthy grace. Minimalist in style but maximalist in emotion, Julia and Liam’s wedding at the Viceroy was a masterclass in being present. It was deeply inspiring to witness a couple let down all barriers and simply have the time of their lives. As their Riviera Maya wedding photographers, capturing this unfiltered joy was an absolute gift.
