In the cozy ambiance of their hometown bar, Le Terminus, Alyssa and Josh's paths first crossed in October 2011. Fate nearly played a different tune as Alyssa almost didn't share her number after a cheesy pick-up line. However, destiny intervened when they discovered they were in the same English class at Heritage College (Cégep) just a few days later. Despite not having a vehicle, Josh's perseverance in waiting at the bus stop in the rain caught Alyssa's attention. In a heartwarming gesture, she offered to drive him home. One month into their connection, Josh asked Alyssa out at the very bar where they first met, and the rest became a beautiful history.

Their journey together witnessed shared adventures, the purchase of their first home, and the delightful addition of two cats, Franky and Percy, along with their golden retriever, Georgia. The crescendo of their love story reached a magical peak when Josh proposed on Christmas Day in 2021. Recently celebrating their 11-year anniversary in November, Alyssa and Josh's love is a testament to the enduring power of a connection that started in a hometown bar and blossomed into a lifetime of happiness.
