Some stories are meant to be told in chapters. We first met Samantha and Joaquin in 2015 for their soulful, bohemian wedding at La Cocina de Corina in Tulum. Since then, we’ve had the honor of watching their family grow, capturing their first session at The Fairmont Mayakoba when little Sofie was just six months old.


The vibrant, Mexican-village charm of El Pueblito at Mayakoba provided a sweet and colorful backdrop for their early memories as a family of three. Fast forward to 2018, and we found ourselves back in the artistic streets of Tulum to celebrate Sofie’s 1.5-year milestone. Samantha’s vision was beautiful: revisiting the same spots where they once stood as newlyweds, now walking those paths with their daughter.
