There is something deeply poetic about El Cuyo. With its sandy streets, colorful murals, and emerald-colored ocean, it’s the perfect sanctuary for a family to pause and celebrate new life. For this session, we joined a beautiful family—mom, dad, and their energetic 3-year-old—as they prepared to welcome their newest member.


Far from the crowds of the bigger resorts, the atmosphere in El Cuyo allowed for pure, unscripted connection. We spent the afternoon watching their son play in the shallow waves while mom and dad shared quiet moments of anticipation. These images are more than just maternity portraits; they are a reflection of a family’s love story expanding in one of Mexico’s most authentic coastal towns.
