The afternoon began at the resort’s iconic Gazebo, where the ocean breeze met an incredibly emotional exchange of vows. As a local photographer, capturing a wedding at The Fives Beach Hotel is always a privilege because of how the architecture frames the natural tropical light. Following the ceremony, we slipped away for couple portraits along the shore, capturing the raw, unscripted chemistry between Seth and Claire against the sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea.
As the sun began to dip, guests gathered for cocktails at Muelle 8, a stunning overwater setting that perfectly captures the soul of Playa del Carmen. The celebration then moved directly onto the sand for a completely open-air beach reception.
