Tulum Destination Wedding at Akiin Beach Club was a celebration of love, dedication, and commitment to each other. Matthew is American and was living in the United States. Kate is an Australian, and was living in Australia. Everything seemed to be on track when both Kate and Matt made the same decision simultaneously in completely different countries. Matt decided to take a spontaneous trip to Mexico, and Kate decided to join her family on a vacation holiday in Mexico at the same time. They literally bumped into each-other while out exploring the new country. They hit it off immediately, stayed in touch, and started to develop much more than a friendship. For the next 18 months they met up in various different places around the world. Their love for travel kept their love for each other alive. They discovered new places, traveled to new heights, and accomplished things together, they thought were impossible. Then one day, in the midst of their travels, Matthew got down on one knee in the mud at the side of a waterfall and asked Kate to marry him. Two months later, Kate made a hard decision to say goodbye to her loving and supportive family and move 1,400 miles away to start a new life with her new love, and they have been living together in the US ever since. They have been living together for over a year, and they chose to come back to the country where both of their hearts were captured; Mexico! Their wedding day was all that Kate dreamed of. Her closest friends and family made the journey to the crystalline waters of the Caribbean to witness her and Matt vow to love one another until the end of time. No one could keep a straight face the entire day. Whether they were crying at the precious moments shared between the two laughing their heads off while they watched Kate and her family share their first dances under the colorful lights. This wedding embodied all the most positive emotions; unconditional love, respect, generosity, kindness, humility, compassion, and happiness. We wish you both the best, Kate and Matt!! ]
