This Royalton Riviera Cancun Sky Terrace Wedding was a a blast! Catherine and Ryan met on an online dating website, and started living together only 6 months into their relationship! They felt a sudden connection and began to make important life decisions together. They immediately got an 8-week old puppy and began to raise it together. Catherine explained that there were definitely some challenging moments in the beginning, but it made them grow stronger, learn to work together, communicate, and compromise to make their relationship what it is today. Catherine's family live in British Columbia and Ryan's family live in Ontario, Canada, so traveling was already in the near future for many guests wanting to attend the wedding. Therefore, Catherine and Ryan made a simple decision: DESTINATION WEDDING! They wanted somewhere that everyone could enjoy themselves. She wanted her family and friends to be able to experience a new place full of amazing scenery with the tropical weather, plants and, of course, the ocean! Catherine didn't want any stress for herself or anyone else on her very special day, so she dedicated the first week to her family and friends and then bid them all a very emotional goodbye, as she and her new husband stayed another week to enjoy their honeymoon!"We haven’t been able to all travel together as a whole family since I was a child. Not only with family but all of our closest friends have made it out, and it was great to spend a good week with everyone rather than just one day that goes by so quickly! This whole trip has been nothing but amazing, great memories, great laughs and great friendships, as some of our guest who did not know each other have become great friends by the end of it. I would have not chose to done it any other way! It was fun, intimate, and absolutely perfect!" explained Catherine.
