Octavia and Maalik's paths first crossed back when they were only 18 years old, and Maalik was struck instantly with a crush. He asked Octavia out several times before she decided to take their relationship any further. However, once Octavia started to spend time with him, she realized that the feelings were mutually growing strong. Whether they spent the entire night talking or at the movies without saying a word; they loved to be together. As a matter of fact, Maalik first proposed that Octavia be his official girlfriend in a theater one special night in April. Skip ahead 9 years, and you see a completely confident, gorgeous, head-over-heels-in-love couple who is proud to shout their feelings from the rooftop! And they did just that on their wedding night. They screamed, danced, rapped, yelled, laughed, and shouted their celebration from the Sky Terrace at the Royalton! It was an incredible day filled with so much joy and love!
