LAURIE + DANIEL
Laurie and Daniel are loyal, honest, hard-working, and family-oriented. Daniel is private but an open book with friends and family. Laurie is a bit silly, empathetic, always ready to eat, and loves to laugh. We knew this would be a spectacular day in paradise.
When we asked Dan why Laurie is the love of his life, he didn't hesitate, "Among the many reasons I love her, she is the polar opposite of me in that she reminds me not to be so serious about everything in life. Also, she is absolutely beautiful (both inside and out). We want the same things in life: to work hard, be successful in everything we take on (including a family), and are very close with our families."
Laurie's answer was just as perfect, "Dan is the old soul to my young soul. He means the world to me and keeps me in line when needed, while I remind him to relax, have fun, and not be so serious. We tend to balance each other out while still striving for the same goals."
We got the chance to meet with the couple when they were touring venues almost a year before their day, and we clicked from the absolute beginning! They are young, fun, and full of life. Then came wedding day, and Laurie didn't hold back with anything! She had her day her way!
They started the day getting ready in the most beautiful bridal suite Live Aqua Cancun has to offer, and it was key for amazing photo opportunities. Then Laurie made a first look with her dad. Next, Laurie had a surprise up her sleeve to calm Dan's nerves a bit. They had a first look scheduled for the bride and groom, but what Dan didn't know is that his best girl and his best friend had a surprise in store for him. Check out the gallery to see what it was!
After a bit of comic relief, it was time for Dan's first look with his beautiful bride-to-be, and from there it was smooth sailing into the Ketubah signing with immediate family, and then off to the symbolic ceremony with all their guests. It was the most precious ceremony with every emotion you can think of.
Laurie and Dan shocked everyone when they entered their reception with funny face glasses and the party started immediately! From balloons to shots to sparklers, this couple didn't leave anything for the day after. They turned up for one of the BEST destination weddings of the year! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Frisch!
