Alexsis and Jeff are our most favorite new friends! Just days after their beautiful ceremony at Dreams Playa Mujeres, they decided it was time for their first Mexican adventure as Mr. and Mrs. Friedlander! They left their family in charge of things back at the hotel and embarked on their journey with a whole lot of excitement and joy. Their eyes widened as they climbed the stairs to enter the ferry. They couldn't believe the "conventional" method of transportation for the locals of the Riviera Maya.

Upon arrival at Isla Mujeres, we jumped off the dock and headed for the most dependable and fun transportation on the island: a golf cart! Jeff jumped in the driver's seat, and Alexsis was in constant admiration of the youthful spirit she had chosen as her life partner. Watching him bob and weave through the "Topes suicidas," she could barely contain her laughter!

Jeff drove us to the edge of the island to take in gorgeous views that mesmerized and inspired the newlyweds. They climbed rocks, ducked through tunnels, jumped over ropes, and maneuvered their way through paradise! After viewing the exquisite nature, we headed into town for a refreshing drink, fun conversations, and a taste of the culture. The love was palpable, and all the locals gave Alexsis and Jeff their full support!

After a coconut water and a few funny faces with the local children, we made our way to the opposite side of the island just in time to play in the ocean a bit and catch the gorgeous sunset! It was an unforgettable day, and we are all blessed to have been a part of it! We love the Friedlanders!
